The RCV drive shaft works according to the principle of drive shaft used on full scale vehicles. It is specifically miniaturized to be integrated into RC models.
This is the object of the patent N° : FR 12 59048.
The balls driveshaft «RCV» keep velocities in each angular position of driveshaft.
It's an advantageous alternative to "double joint". The very high level of accuracy and durability offers no play and no wear run after run.

The « RCV » balls driveshaft are made with high accuracy from special steel hardened. Combined with high quality ceramic balls (Si3N4 - grade 5 - hardness > 1400 HV) you can keep them for a long time car after car, costly parts stay like new for several years if you respect the preconisation of use (see user's manual).
Occasionally you need to change the inner "POM" cage a cheap operation.
A service of maintenance (cage replacement) is offered free of charge (except shipping costs with registered letter).
The replacement of a shaft (breakage after a crash, ...) is charged 17 or 21 €uros excluding tax.

The RCV driveshaft are now lubrificated in factory for life with no lubrification required.
The lubricant used is resistant to the most cleaners on the market.
Remove the residues or other dirt pollution with a "citrus cleaner" or the RCV cleaner.
To get a perfect wheel rotation, we introduce a specific wheel system without pin and screw.
